The Aftermath

I struggled with writing the dialogue for the last panel, but I hope it's clear enough that Claire is absolutely terrified of what she saw, and trying to put as much distance between herself (with Jillie) and Jade as possible right now.

Jade's hair changing colors is an homage to a lot of fantasy where a dramatic hair color shift = used too much magic. How long will it last? Time will tell!
